On September 7, guests from Zelenodolsk visited Kushlauch under the motto “Tukay – the bridge of friendship”. It was in the village of Vasyukovo (tat. Bachek) of the Zelenodolsk region, in the care of her daughter, that Gabdulla Tukay’s beloved sister lived. The guests got acquainted with the poet’s homeland, listened to an informative tour, visited the grave of the poet’s father, and also watched a concert program in the village club
