21.01.2020 a Museum lesson “Old lighting devices” was held for students of the 5th grade of the Novokyrlayskaya school devoted to a series of educational events named “The History of one exhibit” started.

S.Mingazova, a researcher at the Museum, introduced the students to the history of lighting devices and showed the children how to light a beam, candle and kerosene lamp. Students took an active part in the event, shared their impressions and asked questions. At the end of the lesson the children expressed their wishes to devote the next lesson to tools and everyday life.

Museum lessons of this cycle will be held twice a month during the school year.
